Provider: Sharon von Simson, The Midlife Mind Flip
1. Programme access
By enrolling in the Midlife Mind Flip programme you gain access to:
- Six live interactive group calls at approximately weekly intervals
- Six individual coaching sessions, to be scheduled during phase 2 at a time to suit you (see Appendix A for a description of coaching services)
- Supporting homework assignments
- Membership of the Midlife Mind Flip community on Substack until month 9 of the programme, with a monthly online meet-up, expert input on entrepreneurship, health, relationships and purpose, and access to articles and chat in Substack or WhatsApp
- Replays of every group session
Replay access is provided for a minimum of 12 months. Should significant programme updates occur, technology platforms change, or the original recordings become obsolete, the provider reserves the right to replace recordings with equivalent updated content, migrate access to a new platform with reasonable notice, or discontinue access to outdated materials if they are no longer relevant or technically supported. In the unlikely event that access must be permanently discontinued, participants will receive a minimum of 90 days’ notice.
Access is for your personal use only. All coaching sessions must be completed within six months of starting the programme.
The provider reserves the right to postpone the start date of the programme if fewer than four people enrol in the cohort.
2. Payment terms
The investment is either a single payment of €3,000 plus VAT, or six monthly instalments of €550.42 plus VAT. For customers in Germany this is €3,570 or €655 per instalment, including 19% VAT. VAT for customers in other countries is charged according to their billing address.
You pay on a secure checkout page provided by Stripe. If you choose instalments, they are charged to the same payment method once a month, six times.
After you enrol, the provider emails you the payment details for the payment option you chose.
3. Recording policy
Live sessions are recorded solely to provide replay access for participants. Recordings are shared only with members of your cohort. Participants may not record, download, distribute or share the session recordings without prior written permission.
To protect everyone’s privacy, participants are encouraged to anonymise any sensitive details shared during sessions. While all participants are asked to maintain confidentiality, the provider cannot absolutely guarantee other participants’ behaviour; please exercise discretion when sharing sensitive information.
4. Confidentiality and group conduct
This is a trusted learning environment. You agree to:
- Maintain confidentiality of information shared by other participants
- Engage respectfully with the group
- Avoid disclosing employers’, colleagues’ or clients’ identifiable information without consent
- Refrain from promoting your own products or services within the group
- Follow reasonable conduct guidelines in the WhatsApp community
The provider may remove participants who behave disruptively or violate confidentiality, without refund.
5. Refund policy: 90-day conditional guarantee

- Attend at least 4 of 6 group calls
- Complete at least 2 of 6 individual coaching sessions
- Complete at least one homework assignment per week
Change of mind, lack of time or non-participation do not qualify for a refund. Refund requests must be sent to hello@midlifemindflip.com with the subject line “Refund Request – The Midlife Mind Flip”. The provider will confirm in writing whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory right of withdrawal.

- Attend live sessions where possible, otherwise watch the replays
- Complete the exercises

Non-compliance with these responsibilities or technical issues do not constitute grounds for refund outside the conditions stated in Section 5.

- Provide replay access for a minimum of 12 months following the final session

Appendix A: Description of coaching service
Coaching is a partnership between the Coach and the Coachee in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the Coachee to maximise personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation and development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy and plan for achieving those goals.
Coach–Coachee relationship
- The Coach agrees to maintain the ethics and standards of behaviour established by the International Coaching Federation (ICF): ICF Code of Ethics.
- The Coachee is solely responsible for creating and implementing their own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and their coaching calls and interactions with the Coach. As such, the Coachee agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach. The Coachee understands coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.
- The Coachee may terminate or discontinue the coaching relationship at any time.
- The Coachee acknowledges that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of their life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The Coachee agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching principles into those areas, and implement choices is exclusively the Coachee’s responsibility.
- The Coachee acknowledges that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals, and that it is the Coachee’s exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If the Coachee is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the Coachee promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship.
- To enhance the coaching relationship, the Coachee agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the coaching sessions.
Confidentiality
This coaching relationship, as well as all information (documented or verbal) that the Coachee shares with the Coach as part of this relationship, is bound by the principles of confidentiality set forth in the ICF Code of Ethics. However, the Coach–Coachee relationship is not considered a legally confidential relationship (like the medical and legal professions) and communications are therefore not subject to the protection of any legally recognised privilege. The Coach agrees not to disclose any information pertaining to the Coachee without the Coachee’s written consent.
Confidential information does not include information that: (a) was in the Coach’s possession prior to its being furnished by the Coachee; (b) is generally known to the public or in the Coachee’s industry; (c) is obtained by the Coach from a third party, without breach of any obligation to the Coachee; (d) is independently developed by the Coach without use of or reference to the Coachee’s confidential information; (e) the Coach is required by statute, lawfully issued subpoena or court order to disclose; (f) is disclosed to the Coach and, as a result of such disclosure, the Coach reasonably believes there to be an imminent or likely risk of danger or harm to the Coachee or others; or (g) involves illegal activity. The Coachee also acknowledges their continuing obligation to raise any confidentiality questions or concerns with the Coach in a timely manner.
Release of information
The Coach engages in training and continuing education pursuing and/or maintaining ICF credentials. That process requires the names and contact information of Coachees for possible verification by ICF. The Coachee’s name, contact information and start and end dates of coaching may be shared with ICF staff members and/or other parties involved in this process for the sole purpose of verifying the coaching relationship. No personal notes will be shared.
According to the ethics of the profession, topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals for training, supervision, mentoring, evaluation, and coach professional development and/or consultation purposes.
